German Dollar Bonds, das sind Dollar-Anleihen deutscher Emittenten, ausgegeben von 1924 bis 1933, zu Zeiten der Weimarer Republik. Das Sammelgebiet der Dollar-Anleihen gehört zwarnicht zu den weit verbreiteten, doch inden 15 Jahren haben sich einige Sammler auf diese Titel spezialisiert. Grund ist die sehr dekorative Aufmachung der Bonds und der interessante finanzgeschichtliche Hintergrund (Weimarer Republik, Dawes- und Young-Plan, deutsches Transfermoratorium von 1933, Konversionskasse für deutsche Auslandsschulden, Londoner Schuldenabkommen von 1953, etc.). Neben rund einem Dutzend Sammlern von Dollar-Anleihen in Deutschland besteht auch in anderen Bereichen (Branchen-und Regionalsammler) reges Interesse an diesen Titeln.
Dawes-Anleihe von 1924 über 100 $
Drei langjährige Intensiv-Sammler „Deutscher Dollar-Bonds“ sind die EDHAC-Mitglieder Rudolf Asam, Hans-Georg Glasemann und Dieter Mallwitz. Sie haben sich zusammengetan, um in Projektform auf der Basis des 2007 erschienenen Katalogs von F. Paul Seabrook „German Dollar Bonds issued between 1924 and 1937“ die einzelnen Dollar-Emissionen auf ihren finanzgeschichtlichen Hintergrund zu untersuchen, die Verfügbarkeit bzw. Seltenheit der einzelnen Bonds zu ermitteln und nützliche Literaturhinweise zu geben.
Die Untersuchungsergebnisse werden laufend im Nonvaleurs Blog berichtet. Bei diesem Blog kann sich jeder Interessent über RSS-Feed oder als tumblr.-Follower anmelden. Das Projekt-Trio möchte für alle und mit allen interessierten Sammlern das Sammelgebiet erschließen und Ihnen Informationen zur Bewertung der Bonds geben, gegebenenfalls beim Aufbau einer Sammlung helfen.
